Explore the northern end of Sandy Hook with expert birder Dan Burgoyne during peak fall migration. Sandy Hook provides an important stopover for migrating songbirds and shorebirds, and the group will search the maritime forest and tidal flats for species such as Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers, Eastern Phoebes, Palm Warblers, and other fall migrants.

Open to birders of all experience levels. The walk is approximately 1.7 miles round trip over dense, sandy terrain.

Bring: Binoculars, water, sunscreen, bug spray, snacks, and appropriate hiking shoes.
