  • Pershing Field Park 201 Central Avenue Jersey City, NJ, 07307 United States (map)

Enjoy this free event hosted by Pershing Field Garden Friends during National Moth Week! There are 160,000+ species of moths in the world, and you’ll be learning about the nearly 11,000 species of them in the United States from Dr. Kelly Zimmerman. You’ll not only learn about moths and bugs, but you’ll be able to observe a demonstration on how moths are collected and studied!

Check-in starts at 7:45 PM, observation begins at 8:45 PM, and the event ends at 10:00 PM. As it will be dark when the moths come out, please make sure to bring a flashlight to move safely around the area.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
