Join Feminist Bird Club β Jersey City for a fall bird walk at Harsimus Cemetery, a beloved urban birding hotspot and winter home of the Painted Bunting that inspired the club's 2026 patch design. Early November has historically brought the first seasonal sightings of this colorful visitor.
The group will also celebrate the Painted Bunting and announce the winner of its Painted Bunting Art Raffle.
Open to birders of all experience levels. The walk is less than 1 mile, but cemetery paths can be quite uneven. Binoculars will be available to borrow.
Parking: No on-site parking available.
Public Transit: Approximately 12-minute walk from Journal Square PATH station.
Optional RSVP: Email feministbirdclub.jc@gmail.com or DM @feministbirdclub.jc on Instagram to help organizers estimate attendance.
