Join the Montclair Bird Club at the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge! This 7,000-acre area comprises of hardwood swamp, marsh, deciduous woods, fields, open water, and more, supporting a plethora of bird species year-round. You’ll be able to witness waterfowl and raptors, possibly along with a lucky yellow-billed cuckoo, willow flycatcher, cedar waxwing, and more!

Make sure to bring binoculars, a snack, water, bug spray, sunscreen, and a hat. There are bathrooms by the boardwalks.
