Come to Montclair Bird Club’s monthly meeting! This month, Whitney Tssai Nakashima will be presenting information on the color and visual system in birds. She’ll discuss how birds make the avian rainbow, how color functions in birds, and how visual system sensitivities vary across species.

Credentials: Whitney Tssai Nakashima is a National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. Her research integrates historical museum specimens with modern genomics to study evolutionary and adaptive processes in birds.
