Caven Point Beach is back! Liberty State Park celebrates National Public Lands Day by re-opening Caven Point Beach for the fall and winter seasons. Explore the ecology of Caven Point on a naturalist-led walk, get creative with art activities from the Educational Arts Team, discover native plants with Hudson County's chapter of NJ Native Plant Society, browse books from the Jersey City Free Public Library, and refuel with snacks sponsored by the Friends of Liberty State Park. Or simply enjoy your favorite pastime at Caven Point — it's the perfect spot for a beach read, birdwatching, nature journaling, and kite-flying!
