Nature Walk on the Secaucus Greenway
Join Sierra Club NJ on a leisurely stroll through the Meadowlands, with the Hackensack River to the west and the marshland to the east! There are two sections along this 2-mile trail, but anyone can turn around halfway if needed.

Interested in insects? There’s so much to know about the natural world of insects that some of us don’t even notice! Join the NJDEP on a walk to look for some common garden insects and then make an insect craft to take home with you!

Come on a hands-on adventure at Caven Point Beach! Explore the amazing wildlife of the Hudson River Estuary and wade in the water!

Earth Day at D&R Canal State Park
Celebrate Earth Day at the D&R Canal State Park, where you’ll be able to partake in countless free activities such as planting wildflowers, going on scavenger hunts, and even dissecting owl pellets!

Woodcock Walk
Join the Bergen County Audubon Society on their evening Woodcock Walk at the Teaneck Creek Conservancy!

Marsh Birding
Walk with the Feminist Bird Clubs of Jersey City & NYC at the parking lot next to the Great Kills Park maintenance complex, where they’ll be on the lookout for gulls, horned larks, weird ducks and gannets!

Winter Wildlife Walk
Explore winter wildlife with Liberty State Park’s Naturalists on this hike, where you might spot some seals!

Winter Buds Walk
Come to Liberty State Park’s Nature Center to embark on a Nature Buds Walk, where you’ll learn about the intricacies of how buds form into trees! Meet at 11:00 AM at 275 Freedom Way.
